Journal of River Research and Application Editorship is changing hands

The ISRS wishes to inform members that from the beginning of 2017 the Journal River Research and Application will have a new Chief Editor. We are pleased to announce that Professor Paul Wood of Loughborough University, England will be taking over the position from Professor Geoff Petts.  ISSR is re-assured that the journal is in the capable hands of Paul and will continue to prosper under his editorship. Good luck Paul!

Geoff, of course, is well known to us within ISRS and has been editor of the journal in its present and former guise (Regulated Rivers: Research and Management) since 1987. We thank him for the foresight in setting up the journal and his 30 years of Editorship.
