River Research and Applications Journal

The ISRS official journal is River Research and Applications (formerly published as Regulated Rivers: Research and Management). River Research and Applications is an international river science journal dedicated to the basic and applied scientific research of rivers. Our interdisciplinary papers show examples of river management, regulation and restoration in both the developed and developing world. Our special ARENA section provides a forum for new concepts and re-evaluation of existing concepts, allowing authors to explore new ways of considering river science and management through original research papers and other formats and styles.

ISRS 2025 Special Edition

Following ISRS 2025 there will be an opportunity to submit papers for a Special Edition of River Research and Applications. Invitations for this Special Edition will open later in 20205.
